Brand new for the 2017-18 season in Niseko, NBS Uptown is in a prime location for the town’s rental, retail and coffee needs. Positioned half way up the main Hirafu-zaka street, right next to Niseko Park Hotel and near the Hirafu 188 building, picking up ski and board equipment is made easier than ever for foot traffic heading to and from the Family Quad Chair and the .base and Ace Quad Chair area.

- The LINE Sick Day series offers featherweight core and construction and a wide range of waist widths which allow you to pick the perfect model for the snow conditions.
- Whether dropping into the Annupuri bowls or slaying the Hanazono trees, the Armada Trace and Tracer skis are designed to take you wherever you want!
- The Proto Type 2 is a super stable all-mountain snowboard with asymmetrical twin design, great edge hold and tremendous pop.
- The Insta/Gator from NeverSummer will have you snapping in and out of turns, spinning like a machine, and hitting rails like a train! This board can be sized 10cm smaller to improve your performance – the staff at NBS are looking forward to taking this model for a spin!
As well as getting kitted for the hill, Uptown provides a great service desk for booking lessons for the whole family, from age 3 upwards and any skill level. Avoid the crowds found at the base of the Ace and glide through the booking process: perhaps a private lesson with a seasoned instructor to hone your skills, while the kids join a morning Kids Club session? There’s something for everyone at NBS!

While you’re getting kitted out for some Niseko Pow, how about a hot mug of joe to get you kick-started on the hill? Uptown Cafe is your perfect caffeine pit-stop to give you that morning boost. Only a couple of steps off the main street and the Uptown Coffee window is right inside the entrance serving great coffee, as well as Clif Bars, homemade muffins and scrumptious chocolate brownies. Enjoy the speedy service of their coffee-to-go and seasoned barista Ben Chen’s Da Vinci-esque latte art – the caramel soy latte comes highly recommended!
